CIPD's Annual Report
This year for CIPD's Annual Report campaign, it was all about connections. The brief was to develop a design to depict that. I created this look with interlocking shapes and people photography – where they are communicating with others. The report was 99 pages long, containing: graphs; icons; copy; photography and financial statements.

Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE)
ACE is one of the largest HR and people development conferences and exhibition in the UK, run by CIPD. Working for CIPD in the brand team, I was given the opportunity to design the style CIPD's largest event, ACE (Annual Conference and Exhibition). The design changes every year and for that year they wanted a distinctive and sharp design with hints towards the future and networking / connection.
The creative had to be adaptable to be used on various mediums in print and digital, such as postcards, web banners and magazine adverts. After providing a range of options they settled on this design, utilising triangles that could be arranged in a variety of ways to highlight sections and engage the audience. The triangle (or arrow) also works at helping to give that background sense of forward thinking / future, being that it gives direction and that implies movement and the passing of time, combined with the modular look for networking.
Below are few pieces from the project.

Steps Ahead campaign
The Steps ahead program introduced to help job seekers in finding work. This would be rolled out through the Job Centres throughout the UK to help young people get into the working world. The design required a younger feel to it – to engage with the audience, whilst at the same time remaining professional for the bodies that would be implementing the guidance.
